The Tulane Green Wave football started playing on the gridiron all the way back in 1893 in the city of New Orleans, Louisiana. This Green Wave team represents Tulane University in the sport of American football. They currently play their home games in Yulman Stadium on campus since 2014. Prior to that season, Tulane played home games in the Louisiana Superdome for nearly 40 seasons, and in its previous on-campus venue, the third Tulane Stadium, before that. The coaches at Tulane through history have been top notch as names like Clark Shaughnessy, Chris Scelfo, Mack Brown, Tommy Bowden, and Curtis Johnson have strolled the sidelines, The players are legendary too withthe likes of Bucky Bryan, Bronco Brunner, Tommy O'Boyle, Steve Foley, Tommy Thibodeaux, Eddie Murray, Shaun King, Matt Forte, and Patrick Johnson.
